3. Touch the relevant parts of the air conditioner with your hands to feel the heat, cold, and vibration, which will help you judge the nature and location of the fault. Under normal circumstances, the temperature of the condenser gradually decreases from top to bottom, and the temperature of the lower part is slightly higher than the ambient temperature. If the entire condenser is not hot or the upper part is slightly warm, or if it is hot but there is a significant difference in temperature between the upper and lower adjacent pipes, it is abnormal. Under normal conditions, put a finger dipped in water on the evaporator On the surface of the evaporator, there will be a cold and sticky feeling. Under normal conditions, the capillary at the dryer and the outlet should have a sense of warmth (slightly higher than the ambient temperature, which is basically the same as the temperature of the end pipe of the condenser). Low temperature or dew condensation on the surface and temperature difference between capillary sections are abnormal. The temperature of the suction pipe 200mm away from the compressor should be about the same as the ambient temperature under normal conditions.
4. In order to accurately judge the nature and location of the fault, it is often necessary to use instruments and meters to check and measure the performance parameters and status of the air conditioner. For example, use a leak detector to check whether there is refrigerant leakage; use a multimeter to measure the power supply voltage, the current of each terminal to ground and Whether the operating current meets the requirements, the air conditioner controlled by computer should also measure whether the potential of each control point is normal, etc.
