The water pump is very important for a sprinkler truck, so our usual maintenance is very important. If the sprinkler pump cannot absorb water, follow these steps to quickly diagnose:

The first step is to check the switch, first check whether the switch of the water suction port and the water outlet of the water pump is turned on, the water pump is a self-priming pump, and the water should be irrigated when it is used for the first time.

The second step is to check the filter screen. When the sprinkler pump is not smooth, check whether the filter screen in the front section of the suction pipe is blocked by debris, and then check whether the water inlet pipe is sealed section by section, and check whether there is an air leakage fault.

The third step is to check the vacuum degree. The water diversion height of the ordinary water pump should be less than 5 meters, and then check whether the oil seal of the water pump is damaged. The leakage of the pump shaft affects its vacuum degree. When the required vacuum degree is required, the throttle should be adjusted so that the speed is around 1700 rpm, and the engine speed will vary according to the gearbox.

The fourth step is to check the power take-off and check whether the power take-off is working. The separation of the power take-off and the drive shaft will cause the water pump to not work.

The fifth step is to listen to the abnormal noise, check whether the speed of the pump is normal, pay attention to whether there is any abnormal noise, and judge whether the pump cannot rotate normally because of debris wrapping around the blades. But it must be noted that the water pump cannot be idling for a long time during the detection process, otherwise the service life of the water pump will be shortened due to the high temperature of the water pump.

When the water pump does not produce water, if the fault cannot be eliminated after detailed inspection according to the above steps, then check whether the water outlet filter or the pump body is blocked due to the dirty water tank that has not been cleaned for a long time. It is also very important to develop good driving habits. The water irrigation should be cleaned regularly. After the sprinkler is used in winter, the water in the tank and the pump should be drained to prevent the tank and the pump from freezing.
