(1)  Prevent personal electrification.

During loading and unloading operations on refueling truck, the human body must come into contact with the work object (refueling truck) and the work object to generate friction, which is very easy to generate static electricity, and may form electrostatic discharge. If it happens to encounter flammable oil vapor, it will have an accident. The operator must wear anti-static work clothes and anti-static shoes during the operation, the purpose of which is to ground the human body. In addition, the shoes should be thin nylon socks or other conductive socks. It is strictly forbidden to stick insulating films on the anti-static soles, and regular inspections should be made.

(2)  Static grounding cannot be ignored.

From the perspective of refueling vehicles, the main parts of static electricity are pumps, filters and pipes. The amount of static electricity generated by the refueling system of the fuel truck is much higher than that of the ground pipe. For electrostatic hazards, the following measures must be taken:

①Connect the grounding wire before loading oil, and always check its integrity and whether the grounding resistance meets the anti-static standard.

②When filling oil, the oil pipe must extend to the bottom of the oil tank. The distance between the nozzle and the bottom of the tank should be kept at about 15cm, and the initial filling speed should be strictly controlled within 1m/s. After the oil outlet is submerged, the flow rate should be gradually increased, but the highest The flow velocity shall not exceed 4.5m/s to prevent electrostatic accidents caused by splashing;

③After filling the oil, the grounding must be disconnected after stabilizing the oil for 5 minutes. Because after the oil is installed, the oil surface potential will remain for several minutes due to the flow of oil in the tank.

(3)  Sufficient attention should also be paid to accidents caused by "conversion oil loading".

This kind of accident mainly occurs when the gasoline tank is used to store diesel oil. The flash point of gasoline is lower than that of diesel oil. If diesel oil is injected into a tank containing gasoline vapor, the gasoline vapor will be absorbed by the poured diesel oil and reduced. A small pressure, then air is sucked into the tank, and a flammable mixture is formed somewhere between the liquid surface and the air suction point, which can cause an accident when static electricity accumulates and discharges. Therefore, when it is necessary to "change oil", the gasoline in the tank must be cleaned up first, and the operation must be carried out in strict accordance with the operating procedures.

(4) Use equipment that meets technical specifications and safety requirements. 

The automatic control, remote control, measuring instruments, valves and other equipment of the oil generator must be regularly inspected and calibrated, and relevant management systems should be formulated, especially the material of the oil generator should not be taken lightly. At the same time, the electrostatic grounding device can not be made do, and must strictly follow the specifications, install it carefully, and check it regularly. For the grounding of clips and magnetic joints that are commonly used at present, they should not be clipped or adsorbed on random parts of the refueling truck, or even on the surface of the paint. This is extremely unfavorable to anti-static, and it is also a big hidden danger. Many users buy cars for the sake of temporary cheapness, but they don’t know that every penny gets what they pay for. Poor-quality equipment can easily cause accidents, and more attention should be paid to dangerous vehicles such as tankers.
